Commission Essentials

Studio Standards:

Dimensions: Each work is rendered on 9x12” archival paper and matted with an 8×10” or 7×10” window, depending on your preference.

Focus: To maintain the highest level of detail, each commission features a single subject against a refined, hand-shaded background.

Exclusivity: These pieces are time-intensive projects. So, I can accept only a limited number of commissions each month.

The Commission Investment:

Unframed Portrait: $400 + tax and shipping

A 50% initial deposit is required to secure your commission, with the final balance and shipping arranged upon completion.

The Medium & Artistry:

Materials: I use only professional-grade black and white charcoal and PanPastel on acid-free, grey-toned paper.

Uncompromised: To preserve the charcoal’s dynamic texture, I never use chemical fixatives. Learn more about the care of unfixed charcoal.

Curating the Perfect Image:

Communication: After your commission is secured, I will contact you directly to assist in selecting your reference photo.
